Recap of CGNA 2023 Annual Meeting

The return to an in-person only Association/Foundation/Annual Meetings was well received by the College Greens and Glenbrook residents and the business sponsors.  Station 60 opened the back gate at 6:00 pm and President Annette Deglow opened the meeting at 6:30 pm with a summary of the year’s activities, history of the Association and Foundation and a financial report for both.

Councilmember/Vice Mayor Eric Guerra presented a proclamation from Mayor Steinberg to U.S. Postal Carrier Robin Johannsen for her alert and quick action and prompt response by Fire Station 60 Crew related to the August 11, 2023, fire in the Oki Park, WAPA and SMUS easement along Lake Forest/Wissemann Drives.

Next attendees heard from Sacramento City Fire and Police Departments, Sacramento County Probation, business, academic and elected representatives.  Last on the agenda was Candidates for State Assembly District 6 and Mayor of Sacramento.  The meeting closed with the Q & A coordinated by Councilmember Guerra and SMUD Board Member Gregg Fishman.
